All Minnesota Shop Hop
If you’re not familiar with the hop, it’s a fun sewing and shopping adventure across Minnesota. Get your passport (available in the All Minnesota Shop Hop Magazine at City Blocks) and plan your route to visit some – or all – of the shops. You have 2 months to get your passport stamped and turn it in for a chance at some great prizes. All the info you need is available in the magazine or on the Shop Hop website.
You can still buy your Shop Hop magazine. For $11.95, the magazine contains the passport for the Shop Hop.

The quilt technique is "edge coloring applique". This means "drawing" (sewing squiggly lines) with thread over the raw edges of the appliqued pieces. Recommended materials for the applique are freezer paper, tracing paper, Roxanne's glue baste-it (liquid), and Totally Stable stabilized or a stabilizer of your choice.

"I am making the shop sample and I am having loads of fun. I haven't done much applique and have never done this technique. It is quite easy and a refreshing break from sewing quarter inch seams. If you like cutting out paper dolls and putting together jigsaw puzzles, this quilt is for you."
